· This is not enough to support the lead weight when the yacht is on her side. My one had been stored on its side for some time and the keel wood had bent and twisted. If the Bellisima has a keel less than 6mm thick then I suggest you glue 3mm ply or Bass wood to both sides to strengthen it. It will need sanding down to an aerofoil section.

· One thing I did not like about the 242X is the ballast takes up the room in the ski locker and half the storage room in the Port and Starboard side rear storage when full. An upper end wake board boat you still get the storage space and you can add more weight in the storage areas. We ended up going with a 242LSE.
