Any benefit to mounting a scope higher than necessary?
· I was at the range earlier today shooting at 25 metres / 27 yards ish using two HW77s - one with my new 10x44 scope on medium mounts, the other is fitted with standard Weihrauch open sights - which were kindly donated by @chouchin66 some time ago. I got the scope zeroed and was getting my usual (not very small!) groups after a few minutes.
