Without a budget, we can recommend insanely priced pens like a montblanc, caran d'arch, Visconti, or even a cross Townsend. But a Parker jotter, Pentel energel, 207, vision, or any number of ten dollar pens will get the job done and look good. Pilot acroball is my personal favorite mid tier. A lot of pens take Parker refills too.

I have both 01 and 02. I was interested in the 02 because of the shape you describe. I find, compared to the 01, the 02 is better-constructed, with less rattle and jangle, BUT I find the click too stiff and the coating (mine is black) is scratched and damaged easily.
